Communisim, Soxialisim, Tlotaliarisim vs Capitalism
by David Ross
The Soviet Union was the world's first communist country, so why was its official name the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)? Are socialism and communism actually the same thing?
Yes and no, says Norman Markowitz , a history professor at Rutgers University who has taught a course on the history of socialism and communism for the past 40 years.
' The Communist Manifesto ,' published by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in 1848, became the foundation of both sociali

By Kate Northrop
At the end of March, the California Lottery announced Yanira Alvarez as the sole winner of the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot drawn on July 16, 2023, but it turns out the winner presented the winning ticket to lottery officials months earlier.
The California Lottery's official announcement of Yanira Alvarez as the lone winner of the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot came more than five months after she fil

One New Jersey ticket is sole winner of $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Largest lottery jackpot ever won in the Garden State
Updated with retailer that sold the winning ticket
By Todd Northrop
After a run of 30 drawings without a jackpot winner, the 31st drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions game produced a single $1.13 billion winner last night when one lottery ticket sold in New Jersey matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball.
It was the 10th time a lottery jackpot had grown to more than $1 billion, and the ninth time a single ticket won $1

$1.3 billion Powerball winner revealed by Oregon Lottery as three people splitting jackpot
This guy had no idea what he wanna do with that money! looks like big money for wrong person!
Why should an entrepreneur or inventor never win the lottery!
Consider this scenario: someone who had a vision for few million dollars. Suddenly, they win 400 million, and they're clueless about what to do with it!
On the other hand, entrepreneurs or inventors often struggle through numerous hurdles to secure just $10,000 in investment. With lottery winnings, they could potentially create

$1.33 billion Powerball jackpot won by one ticket sold in Oregon
This past week, I matched Zero on the Tuesday and Friday MM and matched Zero on the Monday, Wednesday and Saturday PB.
But you know what, I am still in it.
Will head out and buy my QP for PB - one line three draws and one line two draws for MM. As always adding the extra $1 - total ticket cost is $15 for the week.
A 5.9M win after taxes is a life changing amount for me.
Hitting 2nd prize would be life changing.
Onward we go, one draw at a time.

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
With the addition of the midday drawing in March of last year (and I still say that was a whopper of a mistake on the part of The Florida Lottery. They certainly did NOT do players any favors) there are now 60 to 62 drawings per month. (As opposed to 30 to 31 in the good old days.)
That's why all 36 FF5 numbers are usually drawn every month. It's next to impossible for any given number in a set of 36 numbers not to be drawn in 60, 61 or 62 drawings. In the good old days it occasionally happ

$1.3 billion Powerball winner revealed by Oregon Lottery as three people splitting jackpot
Sadly, 99.99 percent of lottery winners only prioritize their personal lives and families, and this becomes their primary challenge.
When I play the lottery, I have me in mind. I don't play for the benefit of my neighbors or society at large.
Once someone duly pays their due taxes, that's all they need to do for society - that's more than enough. They give 37% to society and more depending on the state. Honestly if that's not enought giving to society, I don't know what is.
It's the

Massachusetts man and his dog claim $4 million lottery win
Plans to use prize to help Animal Rescue League
A Massachusetts man brought his dog with him to claim a big lottery prize on Wednesday, and he plans to use part of his winnings to help animals.
Peabody resident Paul Riley took Raven to Massachusetts Lottery headquarters in Dorchester, where he picked up a $4 million check for hitting the jackpot on a 100X Cash scratch ticket.
Riley opted for a one-time payment and will take home $2.6 million before taxes. Some of that cash will go
