$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
No the money did not go to his head. He wanted to remain anonymous but his big MISTAKE was telling the mother of his child. He should have kept it a secret from her and just proved money for the child and not tell where the money was coming from. Unfortunately most people don't know how to keep their mouth closed, always spilling secrets.

Editorial: Study of lottery winners still receiving food stamps is flawed but raises good points
I have no problem with anonymous winners. But the government clearly know who the winner is because they tax them. But the IRS doesn't speak to state and federal agencies that hand out food stamps apparently.

Bill to allow Pennsylvania lottery players to claim anonymously passes unanimously in Senate
I think all winners should have the option to remain anonymous. I read all of your posts and think that if you were to win a large lottery jackpot and went public with your win, you would still have problems with bank employees. Unfortunately some people of color with large amounts of money in the bank, will always have problems with some bank employees. Going public as a lottery jackpot winner will not solve that problem. A person's bias against another will not be solved that way.
