Oregon man claims $6.3 million Arizona Lottery jackpot
Sounds too easy, I could establish residency in the time it would take to get an apt. and swap a drivers license. Waiting 183 days to claim would be the hard part, I think Delaware tix. are good for a year. Delaware and Florida are both on my list of places to go win or not. I would of course consult my tax guy, but I just don't see Jersey letting go that easy.

Connecticut Lottery makes its pitch for keno
It will certainly be a money maker for the state, but not for the players. It will most likely be the same computerized keno game that we now have in Delaware and that Maryland has had for years. The first year they had it in Maryland, the state lottery income soared. The game operates like a slot machine game, programmed to calculate all of the bets made each game and control the payout to a percentage favoring the state by locking out numbers that would result in a big payout. Anyone who has t

Delaware couple anonymously claims $50M Powerball jackpot
I agree with you John. I like annonymity and letting the winners tell their story anyway. Great! This is in line with the article from last week that NJ is considering letting winners become annonymous for only 1 year. That doesn't make sense to me to just have annonymity for just one year. Let it be forever like in states like Delaware. The article doesn't mention that the winners identity will be revealed in 1-yr. Note to New Jersey Legislators: Let winners remain annonymous forever like

Two tickets will share $174M Powerball lottery jackpot
I played in Delaware once, but not recently. Surprised with the new matrix that DE came up being a small share of sales.. I will guess that it was someone visiting the Delaware House rest stop (did they remodel all that yet?), and as for the PA ticket, they're quiet about where it was sold in either State, but I did play-ahead PA Powerball around my Birthday last month. I remember the machine was screwing up, and gave me Powerball tickets with a start draw of Feb. 25 (a month later than I asked)

Ontario lottery winners: remember when you bought the ticket ... or else
I've always had a bit of fear of this problem should I win the big one. I travel frequently throughput four states (PA, NJ, DE, MD) and purchase Powerball and Megamillions tickets at various places in each. I have my favorite places, but these are fairly many and if asked when and where I purchased a particular ticket I would have a difficult time remembering. This is compounded by the fact that I often buy multiple draws, so my Delaware Powerball ticket may be good for 10 draws (5 weeks), decre

New York Lottery won't pay $25,000 for taped-up scratch-off ticket
Hi tnlotto1>>>can you believe the lawyer in this case. When it all comes out she may be forced to quit her job not only that but, who would want a lawyer as silly as that. You can sure tell she knows nothing about scratch tickets or, lottery for that matter. Other people in this forum picked up on other important points as well>>> the three little numbers at the bottom right hand corner and the losing letters on the ticket although, in Delaware if you win over $200.00 you would

Maryland Lottery to offer limited-run raffle-style game
You might want to try the Delaware Raffle. The Grand Prize is $250,000 but it offers the best odds of any raffle in the North East and the price is only $10 not $20. 1 in 100,000 for the grand prize and 1 in 390 for a prize of at least $500. Only 100,000 tickets available and over 30% are already sold. A million is nice, but $250,000 with those odds is a better bet. And in Delaware you can remain anonymous as a winner and there are no state taxes on gambling winnings. Think about it.
