I think it's all in the way you look at it. To me, it's simply a matter of perspective. I buy lottery tickets for their entertainment value, and oh yeah, I might win some money too. I bet with my head, never over it. I dont kid myself into thinking I'll win big some day. My attitude is if I lose (which happens all the time) then I had a little fun. If I happen to be very lucky and win a significant pile of cash, then I know I'll be very very happy. I've had people roll their eyes in my face
