Hello LP Family- I will be taking a brief hiatus from the Lottery Post (popping in briefly when possible - March 17 will probably be my last posts for awhile). I thought I read somewhere a couple of years ago the federal government also requires a gambling 'journal' showing what you bet/lost/won each day/event. Just found this from IRS To deduct your losses, you must keep an accurate diary or similar record of your gambling winnings and losses and be able to provide receipts, tickets, statements, or other records that show the amount of both your winnings and losses.
