There is no Math when it come to winning.
That's true RJOh! LOL I'm so used to going to Illinois lottery website I can be here and then log out to go there to get results or numbers. HAHAHA dumb I know! The above statement.....I was thinking of myself. I have so many new interests and trying to find time for all of them...I can't do it. If I thought winning the lottery was luck I wouldn't be reading what other people are doing and I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince them otherwise. I'd buy my tickets and use my time to pursue

Predicting number patterns?
LOL one of the few good things about Illinois. I do like your idea of keeping records of the past draws in a file. As I continue to get ideas I have more of a need to search farther back into the game. As far as picking numbers to play I'm only interested in the last 15-20 games. I can understand with a game like Mega wanting to have as much past history as possible LOL that's a whole different ball game : )

Odds/Number Of Tickets
Thoth Justxploring tracks Florida winners and I track Illinois Little Lotto. We've both posted about not only most winners being Quick Picks, but also most of them being from Miami and Chicago (granted, larger population bases). It's lottery, there is no real chance of winning , and the fact that most winners are indeed quick picks kind of blows away anything about consistently . Someomne plays every drawing for 10 years and never gets more than three numbers, somsone plays for the

Pick 3 and The Upper Extreme
Man!! With skips like that I am going to have to figure out a way to live a lot longer, if I am going to continue to play. It sure looks like you have to have a lot of patience to play the Illinois Lottery games. Floridian

Value of a lottery ticket
The value of a lottery ticket is equal to the chance of winning multiplied by the average prize. For example: A straight draw Pick-3 ticket has a 0.001 chance of winning, and the prize is $500 (in Illinois, anyway). Multiplying 0.001 by $500 gives a ticket value of 50 cents. Thus, when you buy a $1 straight draw Pick-3 ticket, you are paying a dollar for something with a value of only 50 cents. It's worth noting that both the Box-3 and the Box-6 tickets are only worth 48 cents; so, even though yo

Wave pattern analysis and lottery draw histories
Yes to your question Jimmy to whether you can get patterns from years back of data. And it's true numbers run together, follow and come before each other for no reason at all. I call them clusters and followers. I don't do pairs, last digit out, high low, none of those things but I do dates and day of the week. I follow the pattern of the whole number and lottery math. I have data of the same data occuring the same in different years. OK, I'm going to tell this story again because I've told i

Mechanical Lottery Ball Machine and RNG.
Illinois switched from balls to RNG Oct. 1, 2015. I only started playing/watching p3 after the switchover, I don't know if it's any more or less winable now vs. before. I wonder if anyone has backtested a good system on history before and after and seen much difference. Just eyeballing the history, I didn't notice anything much. Maybe a few more triples now. Oh, there is one thing. Lotto never used to be able to rollup past 10 million before. Since the change, it had a huge, long r
