Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
I am also bothered by the invasion of privacy in their own home. This went way beyond due diligence procedures verifying a win. The couple should have been asked to bring ID with their address to a lottery office. If a photo needed to be taken, it should have been on lottery property. This is not a criminal investigation by law enforcement. This all seems harassment based.

Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
The ticket is a bearer instrument. If the lottery claims you did not purchase it, the burden of proof shifts to them, not you. Let them produce that evidence first before supplying anything additional. A receipt will not help much if your name is not on it. With all the cctv cameras in the UK, the lottery should have checked the cameras first before opening an investigation.

VIDEO: Dee Dee Moore killed Florida Lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare... now she wants a new trial
The biggest tell that indicates she did in fact kill Shakespeare is the fact that she changed her story three times. Most murderer's do the exact same thing. They see the police are closing in on them when the cops tell them their investigation revealed things that point to the suspects guilt. So their story changes. She's a screwball, she killed him, got convicted and was sent to prison where she'll eventually die. G5

Massachusetts store clerk indicted after stealing lottery ticket worth $3 million from customer
I can understand video evidence of someone throwing a ticket into a garbage can demonstrates intent to abandon a ticket. Video evidence of someone accidentally and unknowingly dropping a ticket to my mind does not demonstrate intent. They simply lost their ticket. If at a later point in time I find it lying on the ground, and it's not signed on the back, then it's mine. Unless I actually saw the person drop it, I'd have no way of knowing who originally bought it so that I could return it to
