Iowa Drawings for Pick 3&4
Where are the drawings done for Iowa's Pick 3 4? I talked to an Iowa Lottery Rep Today and he told me They are done in Iowa now. I thought they where done in Indiana.He also didn't know if they used different machines for Midday and Evenings.

This month will be separate Indiana and Iowa threads, since Iowa is starting their own Pick 3 and Pick 4 draws starting Oct. 1.

Notes: On July 1, 2017, Iowa began to use the Indiana Lottery's Daily 3 and Daily 4 winning numbers for its Pick 3 and Pick 4 games. This shift eliminated the computerized drawings Iowa conducted in-state for the games between April 16, 2014 and June 30, 2017. Prior to April 16, 2016, Iowa used the Illinois Lottery's Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawing results for the games.

I don't know when it went to 4 advance plays, but this is why: (from the Iowa Lottery website) Please note that through the morning of Nov. 5, 2023, the number of Powerball drawings for which you can purchase plays in advance is being limited in Iowa as we gear up to add a popular new feature in the game. (They're adding the Double Play option, so they have to switch out all the playslips.)

Definitely, needs to be updated. Iowa and Indiana have the same drawn numbers.

Hi Wendy777, I like to stick with the 220 unique singles and doubles for Box Hits and I pay most of my attention to OHIO's game and predict in that thread, but keep my own records for Penn, New York and New Jersey due for clients, friends and family. Does anyone know which LP predictor study the numbers by state, specifically Indiana/Iowa? I need to learn how to study Indiana draws. I am finding that many people predict numbers that could fall in any state which result in multiple numbers. I believe each state has patterns and numbers are due. Please help.

Apparently Iowa wanted to maintain a lottery using actual machine drawings, but hasn't wanted to spend the money to conduct them, so they used Illinois numbers until Illinois switched to computer draws, so now they use the numbers drawn in Indiana since those are actual ball draws.
