Lottery Places app now back on Android!
I am happy to announce that the Lottery Places app, which is used to locate lottery retailers in any state and several other countries, is now back in the Google Play Store and ready to use once again on Android devices.
The issue was that there were some problems with updating the app, so it fell out of the supported frameworks on Android and was dropped from the Play Store. With a fresh 2.0 update and a little polish, the app has been updated with all the latest standards, and has been swi

non topic nothing to do with this site
I've had some ads pop up and tell me that my iPhone is infected with a virus when I use the app. I cannot close out, and closing the app doesn't help. I have to reboot my phone to get the app to clear the ad.

Tech Talk/Geek Speak Made Easy
Here's another one for ya. Everybody's heard of it but nobody know what it is. And it's a lot bigger part of your personal life than most realize too.
The Cloud It's a remote data center that you never knew existed or even heard of where data is stored. Lots of big corporations are in the cloud biz. Amazon, Goolge, Microsoft, IBM and Oracle are just a few. Ever seen the acronym 'AWS'? A mazon W eb S ervices is Amazon's Cloud line of business, and I'll bet you dollars to donuts that some pers

Florida's Fantasy 5
How about this.....
What if my wife (who soon will be giving her work laptop back to the company she works for) buys a new computer, and I use it to Logon to The LP and create a new username? You guys slick enough to catch that?
And lemme tell ya.... I already know she has positively zero intentions of creating her own new account at The LP under a name she choses. When it comes to going online, and protecting her online privacy, (and her privacy in general cuz she's a private person) p

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Glad I'm keeping an eye on this thread.....
For some reason, I thought the drawing for June 1st was TONIGHT, and was planning on checking my tickets via the Florida Lottery App on my iPhone tomorrow morning. But when I saw you guys each won $100, I checked my tickets. Not a winner so far for each and every one of them.
Had I won a $100, I'd buy 5 more tickets with that money!!!! No such luck. I might buy one more ticket this week, and one more late in June.
Congrats to both of you.

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
I saw and heard one forensic analyst say (and it was probably a week ago that I saw it) Due to the victims medical history, the situation is grim. That says a lot.
As much as I hate to write this, I think the victim is no longer alive. Anybody who has heart troubles and takes heart medications knows exactly what I'm talking about. Someone in my family has two mechanical valves in their heart. That person has been following the case closely, hanging on each and every word that's been reported

Tech Talk/Geek Speak Made Easy
If your like me, you abhor geek speak. You know, - What the Hell did that guy just say?? And because no self respecting Geek would ever bother to explain to you in plain English what the hell he's talking about, I thought I'd do this.
Here's some tech talk demystified for you.
