I guess they don't know much about probability either because the reason that they changed the matrix was to create Billion dollar jackpots. And that they did, a lot quicker than they had thought as they were hoping by 2022. Since they made it harder you are going to see more higher jackpots now, and Billion dollar jackpots more often as that was the reason they changed it.

With the current odds, we can expect to see $600M jackpots once or twice a year, and $1B jackpots two or three times a decade.

There are literally hundreds of games out there geared towards more people winning small jackpots. If you have a problem with large jackpots, play those others. Why should it be fair for your own personal views to infringe on what others prefer. Them winning large jackpots do not affect you in any way.
