What other form of lottery tickets can you steal? I suppose you could direct the machine to print out multiple quick picks.. If everything was on.. But (I assume) that would be pretty easy to catch -- ticket was sold while store was closed -- should be an easy search So.. Pretty much a meaningless crime.. Unless they manage to sell unscratched tickets to other people

It depends on your state. You could email them and ask what to do in that situation. Tickets for draw games are time stamped pretty precisely, so I don't see how you'd get away with claiming one you didn't purchase. Scratchers are iffy because they're not timestamped, but they are serial numbered. Add that to my long list of why I have no interest in casinos. I do not want to see sad people gambling their life away vs playing for fun and entertainment. Casinos are not close and convenient for most people. People with gambling issues are being enticed daily with a poor economy and inflation. Same here . In my state(Louisiana), it is not legal to buy lottery tickets with a credit card. Is it legal in Florida? Did he win any big prizes or was he sending in large numbers of tickets for second chance drawings? I don't feel bad for him since he stole from his employer and used a credit card which could be easily traced. He'll be locked away for a while.
