CASH/LUMP SUM VS ANNUITY
Hey everyone I just came up with probably the best reason to choose the cash/lump sum options and that is dealing with people aint worht a damn these days. I recently made a purchase online from a major retailer and called customer service to check on the status of the order and know one knew anything and had very bad attitudes and afterwards decided that maybe this was a hint that if I was to win that the cash/lump sum might not be a bad thing after all. I can just imagine dealing with people l

Lump Sum or payments?
Lump sum pays less in taxes over time vs annuity! Which is best, Lump Sum vs Annuity? (Super Lotto!)
I am 42yo, I have not won, but I play sometimes for fun, then I started to think which one would I choose. Lump Sum or Annuity? What about you guys? We all claim to be good investors, even me, but 70% of people who win loose their fortune within the first 3-7 years. That is something to consider. After crunching the calculator to death I think that annuity payments might give me a better return. What do you guys think? Hypothesis: 1-2 1) If I win 26M Jackpot and choose the lump sum

He's welcome to donate to time*treat's church-of-the fire, brimstone and scratch-offs; where the comdemned spend eternity listening to people who are bad at math (attempt to) argue the tax implications of lump sum vs annuity, and each sermon ends with a lovely jaunt through the Book of Revelation ... or USC 26, depending.
