$1.1 BILLION: Mega Millions jackpot now the eighth-largest in history
do the two jackpots help or hinder the other as it pertains to lottomania? I'd think that not playing PB when the MM jackpot is $100 or $200 million higher would be the obvious strategy considering that the cost is the same and the odds are very close to being the same, but I've never noticed an obvious effect of one game on the other. Maybe when they're both really big and one gets hit a few people figure they should try their luck on the remaining one before it gets hit, too. would yo

$1.76 billion Powerball jackpot won by one ticket sold in California
Hey congrats to California! Will someone let me know when PB or MM reaches 100 mil or more; that's when I play the game. And even so, I only buy one ticket per 100 mil. Sorry but, I play only for the big jackpots folks. PU who brought the skunk soup? And a few suggestions to the lottery warlords ..... I will share in an upcoming post .

$1 BILLION: Powerball jackpot hits milestone for 3rd time
Been living outside the US since 2011 and with jackpots soaring, I've availed the services of TheLotter since 2021. Though I haven't won big (yet), sure hope things will change in the upcoming draw. The only downside of using this butler service is that a 3-combination set (the least you can buy in the website) will set you back $15 (up from $6) ! I understand the convenience that it brings (being stationed abroad and all), but still...that's more than double! Guess it'll all be worth i

When is the right time to hang your lottery boots?
You are welcome. Definitely when playing the lottery stops being fun one should indeed take a break. I have a main job and a side hustle - I only buy my tickets with the cash from the side gig. So I am still in but only at one ticket a draw. There are times when the jackpots were this high that I would do five tickets or more a drawing - I never won anything, so I figured out that one ticket is just as good as ten Got my PB and MM tickets ready with the extra buck on each. $935 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot nears billion-dollar milestone
I feel this pot going to climb into the top 3 Maybe, but it needs to almost double, to about 1.815 billion to be in the real top 3, based on the current cash:annuity ratio. It will reach a billion by Saturday for sure. That would require actual sales to be almost twice as much as the original forecast. Call me crazy, but I think that seems just a tiny bit unlikely. Considering the odds are even higher for mega millions than they are for Powerball ... The very high odds for

$1.2 BILLION: Powerball jackpot is 3rd-largest in game history
This week lottery players across the United States will be pulling out all the stops to try and win Powerball, featuring one of the largest lottery jackpots in history, worth an estimated $1.2 billion. Please, please, don't pull out all the stops to try and win. Just be a rational human, see the odds and just buy one ticket. Don't get sucked into the hype. Your brain is going to tell you this is your moment well, the brain of 100 million other people is telling them just about the same

Don't let the brain play tricks on you.
I may not be aware of all the systems that people are using our there to try and win the jackpots. But from my own reasoning and rational thinking, faulty thou it may be, my mind tells me that if those systems did actually work, then we would have quite a lot of winners out there. Atleast we would have 5 to 10 second tier prize winners every so often, but that is not the case. The norm is one big winner and when the jackpots are average, we have consistently one second tier winner fo
