CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Jon, I'd much rather California be like Nevada, where you can go to any casino or corner store and play nickel keno and video poker, rather than the lottery. Small, low-stakes gambling for many and if you win $20 (hopefully more) it's a good night. I was able to win $200 on a $0.25 Keno bet at an off-strip locals casino last year and only wished California offered the same type of bets with Hot Spot.

Post your scratch ticket results
Well I was trying to post a picture of my ticket but I can't figure out why this forum doesn't post pictures from photobucket like all other forums in the universe does... so guess you have to take my word for it.. ' Me is thinking cash in the ticket and another bottle of wine and staying away from the scratchers machine until I feel it again.. BTW I am a Sagittarius the luckiest of all zodiac, And originally from Nevada. Before moving away from North East Nevada I had won 10 royal f

At least we have some options, some states don't have any. I've been to Pechanga and some other indian casinos a few times, and more frequently to local card casino like Commerce, that's the closest to me. But yeah, even with full blown gambling in Nevada, lottery still has a place. Just look at all the people crossing the border to play PB/MM at Primm Valley lotto store. I was surprised to see how much Hot Spot play there is. All that pent up demand for Keno/casino play I guess. Scratcher

1It is good to see undercover agents to randomly perform a protocol inspection test to measure integrity of the retailers. That guy did screw up, if he understood it or not, there are way too many zeros to be suspicious. As a consumer, I am well aware of the possible prize tiers for every game before I buy any. The Nevada Gaming Commission does this too by sending out 19 or 20 year olds to casinos to see if they get carded at a table game. But to cut off a major national gasoline brand fro

The Nipton store is pretty much the biggest scratcher store I ever seen, lines are an hour long once Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is at $100Million+. They do enforce the TICKET, by giving you a random ticket from a roll next to them. The monthly free play is a nice incentive, but it goes by real quick. I know the big four indian casinos (Morongo, Pechanga, San Manuel, Agua Caliente) do not have comission anymore though they once did. You would have to bet high per hand to migate the

$20 California ticket
I am also very very disappointed with how the first $20 ticket came out either, primarily because of the break even prize structures. Most of the $5 or $10 games are structured where you can win a dollar, double up, triple up, or quadruple up at attainable odds. $25 - 1 in 30 to win 5 dollars $50 - 1 in 22 to double up (2.5x) $100 - 1 in 33 to 5x The TICKET prize is under the presumption the player will be forced by the retailer to play another ticket (where odds are they will pos
