that's the name that will be recorded by the state lottery and who that state lottery will pay the claim to and your name will be entered into the public domain. Obviously checking with a lawyer as soon as you find out you've won is a very good idea, but one thing to do even before that is *not* sign the wrong name to the ticket. I'd expect that if you sign your own name the lottery would verify that you're the legitimate winner, and then gladly make the payment to a trust or LLC that you o
