Anyone play the new $10 Fla Lotto Black ticket ? Maybe I got lucky but the machine broke down at publix and they already closed over the counter sales so i could not get them. checked the odds online and does not look good. another Color of Money - which was the worst $10 game ever imo There is a new $5 ticket out too. same old stuff though. wish they had some imagination over here and actually made a game which was different than the 100 other tickets out there. its become repetitive robb

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I've been in that Beneva Road Publix a time or two but never won anything buying scratch offs or online games for that matter. From a volume of ticket sales standpoint, Publix is definitely the place to buy because they're largest lottery retailer in Florida. No retailer in Florida sells more lottery tickets than Pubix. It stands to reason that they'd sell the most winning tickets of any kind/type. Given that the population of South Florida is almost 6 million people, the Miami/Dade/Brow

My questions about Scratchers
Hi NJJim, lots of good observations and questions in your posts. I'm only familiar with scratch games in Florida so my info is limited to that state, and I probably will not touch on all your points. The Fl Lotto will never confirm such information, but in following games here it's clear that top prizes are seeded evenly throughout a game's run, thus when a game reaches 50% sold it's fair to consider half of the top prizes have been sold too. This can be inferred through a couple data points

One of the Flamingo Multiplier jackpots was found on ticket 000. We've seen several big wins on 000, and the last ticket of a book within the past couple of years. Are you saying you think these were intentional? For the most part, the randomization seems fairly random with book numbers being skipped and all. There were two $5M prizes only 50k books apart on the $20 Flamingo game, and we saw the same thing happen with the $20 Monopoly game early on. Oddly enough, the $20 Monopoly has slowed down

BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER $1 million winner 6/14/2012 luck or...
Thats why I really like the store next to my work. I have mentioned on many of occasions. It is a husband and wife who I believe are Indian. If I ask him what he likes, he will tell me if someone just lost on a few. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesnt. I asked him why he doesnt buy them and he said he doesn't like to buy from his own store and doesnt think it is right. He said he will usually go buy from his friends store in Norristown. I know in PA they get 5% on all sales and a % of

How many different stores do you buy Scratch tickets from?
Oh, I see, that is a much bigger prize for the 50k/per year. I am having trouble staying focused. Too many tickets. I do like the Lucky for Life ticket, I've only played a couple times but I like the big yellow ticket, scratches real easy. I've just been trying to get into a strategy and saw 1 in 3mil and said forget that, let me try for the 1 in 546,000 for the Million on BDB But I like your strategy, look at history, timelines, Wins are spread out. Some tickets are due to hit, Makes Sense.

Unclaimed jackpots from games that ended?
I really can't hold it in any longer, so I'll tell you. You have 3 options: 1. Someone threw it away. Yes I find a lot of winners in the trash. You could probably make a living just driving around going through the trash. 2. It was destroyed by the lottery. 3. It was never sent out. So for all the people up in arms about the 1 or 2 top prizes left for the games closing here you go: This is why it's illegal: To start off the lottery has to legally post the number of p

While I agree with you about the improbability of the Lottery intentionally pulling/destroying jackpot tickets, what bothers me is that they do pull/destroy tickets and don't bother with the rather simple task of scanning those tickets before destroying them so as to remove any winners from the available pool. Sure there will be an initial cost of developing a set of machines to quickly remove the scratch-off material and scan the tickets, but it'd be an almost imperceptibly minuscule expense fo

I really only read this forum from my (android) phone. So im not able to reply until i get on a computer... -There may be 1 or 2 employees at the 7-11 i was talking about that are paying extra attention to ticket numbers and wins. But for thee most part i do not believe the employees are in on any hawking scheme. I was talking about players at this location. Maybe i got the species wrong. Ha! I should call them vultures i guess? I would say GetReal720 and OCScratchDevil explained basically

Scratch off methods.
Anyone feel free to tell me their strategy, not only on scratch offs, but online draw games as well. Here is what I have had the most success with right now. I will spend $10 at a time usually, and I will purchase 2 separate $5 tickets. There are several reasons for this. 1) If I buy 4 $5 tickets, and win $20, then I have just wasted my time. Sure I broke even, and that alone is grounds for celebration sometimes, especially after a hard losing streak, but I still made no money. 2)I buy a l
