$1 BILLION MEGA MILLIONS LOTTERY DRAWING TONIGHT
That's not how net worth works. It is not cash on hand . It is the total value of all assets minus liabilities. In this case, should the winner choose the annuity, that asset would be worth $1 billion, as that is the total payout amount, and they would be a billionaire. The richest people on the planet have most of their net worth in stocks, and even though most of the value in their stock could not be sold immediately, 100% of their stock is nevertheless included in their net worth. Also, ev

May Sound Silly: For Pick4 and England´s PIck6/0-9
if you came up with a system to crack Pick4 or Englands: PIck6/0-9 you could figure out how many points exactly the stock market will be up or down at a particular time during the day.... Guess what i will think that the points the stock market is up or downs is reflective of all the accumulations of the points of all its stocks...If this is true??? it will be like soduko mixed with a piece puzzle....what i am trying to say is: this sudoku type of structure, will tell you at what point ALL

The Type of People that play Pick3/Pick4 and some Scams...
I Played the stock market for years and the only real way to make money in the stock market is to invest in solid stocks (Long Term) very expensive and takes a ton of money out of your pocket otherwise if your not an insider you are pretty much going to lose your money in the end.... If people continue to lose their money in the stock market and there is only 1 way to make money in the stock market, WHY PEOPLE KEEP BETTING ON IT WHY???? BECAUSE IT MUST BE GOOD...not just that, Rich peo

Random Lottery..Random Stock Market
lotterybraker, Thanks for your kind remarks. My stats are about to change for the worst looks like the stock market is drowning today if it doesn't pick up by 4 pm I'll go in the hole. And it's a situation where dumping the stock won't help. Absolutely nothing i can do except hope tomorrow the stock market recovers and pulls ahead. When the game is over I'll try and explain how i made it this far. Will also post the stock i have for the game.

Lump Sum or payments?
I agree with MissNYC in that those who wouldn't want to change anything should just not play the lottery at all. For goodness sake, even just having one such person or even a congressman win is too much! I have also noticed that people hate to see convicted criminals win jackpot lotteries, but I think congressman are in the same league. As for justxploring, it is apparent that you would be a weak link on any debate team. This is not a personal attack as I am just rebutting what you wrote (he

Wonder where the other half of 390 mill is?
Prob988 writes: I once had a financial advisor who got very upset with me for selling Lucent stock at $100/share. He carried on and stamped his feet but I insisted on selling the stock any way. He said there was at least $20/share more in the stock and I was being an idiot. (Yes, I fired him.) Guess what? Within one year the stock was under $5/share. If your profile didn't indicate you live in NJ, I'd guess we had the same financial advisor.

if you were to hit the big games, would you
I'm surprised this very good idea Thread hasn't had a response yet. I'm sure MANY People would buy Stocks in the Stock Market if they won big in The Lottery. :) If I won, I'd buy Stock in stuff like McDonald's, but would be wary about buying Stock in Start Up Businesses, but in all honesty, EVERY Business at one point was a Start Up Business... ;)

Is it worth playing the lottery with those odds?
Actually, I should have started this first before the previous two comments because this to me is the ultimate proof in my opinion of how the masses are deluded. If I told you I know a stock broker that is selling a stock for $2 a day which would equal $60 a month, but, they have a 99.9% chance of making any money in the next 20 to 30 years, would you buy into that stock? If yes or no please reply as to why you chose either one.
