California's 2022 lottery winners: A mystery billionaire and 100+ millionaires
I often wondered why so many lottery winners are in California, then I read this article. It seems that every store or venue that sells products also sell lottery tickets. I was surprised to learn that CVS also sells tickets. In my state I have never seen a lottery vending machine in a CVS. Walmart only recently added lottery vending machines. Only certain grocery stores have lottery vending machines as well. I read a comment from someone months ago. The person said the Powerball and Mega M

Quickpicks Powerball: Lottery Post vs Terminal
Interesting idea. I don't buy enough tickets to do that study. Another thing I wonder about is have there been Power Ball or Mega Millions winner of jackpots from vending machines, and have any won huge jackpots (say, over $100 million) with a vending machine ticket? I don't think this is something you tested but if you have seen any threads/messages about this topic, can you post a link? On July 29, 2022, my daughter-in-law sold a Mega Millions 5-out-of-5 winning ticket in the supermark

Do you have any weird lottery superstitions?
I remember reading that some jackpot winners drank something orange just before playing their tickets. A couple of times I did a haka in front of a lotto vending machine and got strange looks from people. One was a nurse who just got off work and asked me if I was OK and offered to take me to the hospital. EMOTIONAL WEDDING HAKA (Original Video) HD - YouTube notice from 1:02 to 2:08

I stumbled across a betting technique that's put a smile on my face but not in the way you'd expect. Might be a fluke, but I thought I'd pass it along here in case somebody else wants to try it. Find one of the full service lottery vending machines that prints out Fast Play and draw game tickets. You'll want something in a not-too-busy store because you'll be on the machine for a couple minutes. I fill out my betting slips in advance and put a couple dollars more in the machine than the bet

Yesterday evening, I used the vending machine, pressed for a quick pick straight, it was 777! When I tried to buy it, the liability limit was met, and also for the front pair, 77x. This has happened several times within the past 2 weeks. I guess the memo is: Play 777! Best of Luck.

I had a $1.00 so I did the quick pick button for the evening Pick 3 and guess what Quick Pick did pick what numbers ? To the shock of my life ... The Quick Pick number is 666 with the WildBall option included in the Quick Pick ticket. If I have extra money then I make my own picks alongside the W.B. ( always include the W.B. ) but if I don't have enough money then I use the Quick Pick + W.B. button at the new electronic vending machine. I almost never use the old lottery machines in town.

One ticket sold in California wins $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot
Some people on here are complaining that someone in California has won the jackpot again. California has more lottery vending machine in more locations: Walmarts, corner stores, mini marts, CVS/Drug stores/grocery stores, etc. than any other state in the U.S. In my state, our local Walmart just got a lottery vending machine last year or so. California is not even the top state that has won the most Powerball jackpots. It is actually #10 on the list. Here is the list of states with the most P

The thing about scratchers is if there's no big winners in the store where you bought them, you can't win big simply because there's nothing there to win, no matter how many you buy. With Fast Play, at least theoretically, any retailer or vending machine has an equal chance of printing out a big win. You could chase a win if your pockets were deep enough and sooner or later, it might come. I thought of another example that made me smile. Imagine you work at a business where there's exactly 1

Asked ChatGPT How To Win the Lottery
I'll save him the money. You're right winoneday. Buying 50 tickets would make the odds 50 in 292,201,338 , not 1 in 292,201,288. Now, because we know that odds are nothing but fractions, the odds can be expressed as the fraction 50 / 292,201,338. In order to express the odds as 1 in ___ rather than 50 in ___ , we simply reduce the fraction. We can reduce the fraction by dividing both the top and bottom numbers by 50. The top becomes 1 (50 divided by 50), and the bottom become

$20 tip turns into $100,000 lottery prize for Maryland Uber driver
Happy tears for this winner and his family after winnings provide means for a meaningful trip By Kate Northrop A lucky Uber driver decided to use an unexpected $20 tip to buy a lottery ticket, which in turn earned him a six-figure prize. What others might call a risk turned out to be a rather lucrative decision for an anonymous Maryland man who netted a $100,000 lottery prize using a large tip he received from a customer.
