Washington woman checks lottery ticket months after draw and discovers $135,000 win
A Washington woman bought a lottery ticket from a vending machine but didn't realize until months later that it was a $135,000 winner. The Lynnwood woman, identified as M.B., told Washington's Lottery officials she bought her Hit 5 ticket from a vending machine at her local Fred Meyer store while picking up groceries for dinner. Accidental lottery ticket purchase nets Maryland couple $2 million in Powerball
Wow that's luck! $2mil is $2mil whether by accident or not. Congratulations to the winners. I don't know if the lottery vending machines here can replay existing tickets. They can accept playslips, but I don't know if they replay. I've had clerks replay tickets a few times, but never tried it with a machine. I wish them both well and hope they enjoy their winnings.
