I know this post isn't exactly about this part, but I find it interesting that their web site says 70-80% of players choose QP and coincidentally, 70-80% of winners chose QP.

YES and I honestly think it could be related to web site propagation... which means that the servers/hosters across the U.S. aren't always as up to date (or sync) as they are in different locations (for end-users). I used to believe it was because they didn't update the file until the next afternoon, but now I would have to think it's related to sync/timing issues based on location.

I bought my first Mega Million QP with Mega Plier today. I think I got a little excited coz I thought I would get to see my numbers Saturday nite until I looked on the Kansas Web site and saw Tuesday Friday. (heavy sigh)

Powerball coming to N.Y. & N.J.
I received an email from the NY Lottery in response to my email requesting information about our participation in Powerball. The reply was, NY will be selling Powerball early this year. New Jersey Lottery's press release section on their web site has an article stating they will also be selling Powerball early this year. Now I won't have to go to Connecticut to buy Powerball.

According to the chart on the web site, the odds of matching five of six are 1:89,678. The date of the draw isn't specified, but if it was the most recent draw, on the 25th, a five out of six match is worth $1,362.

Next spring. look on the Mi lottery web site. reading between the lines I think in march 2010 but no offical comments by the lottery commision yet, only next spring 2010.
