Food stamps is not taxed, as nothing to do with IRS.....welfare that includes cash money being given is a different story. That is what you pay back with a win which is taken automatically, which is why this ad not adding up. Once you win and scan that ticket with ur social attached they in ur pocket no question ask. So I'm not believing this UNLESS they winners are scamming by getting others to cash the tickets for them....otherwise I don't believe ....

Especially considering you have to be recertified every 6 months for SNAP. That little bit of money at most might get your benefits cut. I didn't read anything in the article about any welfare queens re-upping after winning significant lottery prizes. I also noticed how they went from SNAP to All government resources. Just completely misleading IMO.

Don't forget when they win any lottery prizes the state takes most their winnings , which might explain why they are still getting it. They not talking about that part, leaving winners still in need.
I can recall in 2015 I won 11G at the casino. I was on public assistance when my daughter was 11 years old(28 now show how long). And best believe after the federal taxes plus other state taxes plus the welfare cut, I had only $1,100 left and I weren't even working at the time and
