How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Interesting question. I always play for the cash value, which would probably be around $500 million, give or take. So, I would give him half. In this scenario, I couldn't play without his help, but if I had not bought the ticket there would not be a jackpot win. So, split the jackpot.
Besides, $250 million for each would take care of both of us for life.

I borrowed $10 and owe them $10.
If I told them Give me $10 and I will buy some lottery tickets, if I win we shall split the winnings now that's a different proposal.
Having said that, there is a word used that would sway the argument. The word is FRIEND.
Now if this person is a real true friend, then in the spirit of friendship I would remember them. Maybe with 5M.
However remember that people change, you could give them even 50M and they could sue you demanding more.
