Do you think this is real?
No comment on the date of the check, but based on the way he played, he should have won $13,500 more on another 27 lines. It looks Steve played the same five numbers multiple times and shows a ticket with the first five bonus numbers, but wouldn't you think a high roller like Player would use all 32 bonus numbers? This is the second time I have had four numbers right plus the Powerball - next time I plan to get all five numbers right for a Jackpot win!!! It just goes to show you that my winni

Duplicate ticket winners - same store - Texas 2 Step
I see this occasionally with Cash 5. A player plays the same numbers multiple times so if the jackpot is split between players they get a larger amount. I don't remember someone doing this with Texas 2 Step before though. This is a funny game. I play every draw, and last year I won $5 for the whole year. $5. I'm doing better this year but man, for the odds this game has, it's not too easy to win.

is anyone making an income from lottery
Jimmy read a book about number statistics with opinions about lottery players and now believes he's an expert on lottery play. We could tell him another thousand time the odds against winning lottery prizes are on the back of play slips and on state lottery websites and he'll ignore that another thousand times. There are thousands of example of how lottery players play lottery games on this website, but he still can't comprehend why some players might pay a buck for the picks of another player t

is anyone making an income from lottery
I said the jackpot is a fixed $25,000 with an aggregate of $250,000 and the WVA player won four or five jackpots and had multiple tickets on the winning combo each time. Didn't you know players can wager on the same combo multiple times and win up to $250,000 in each drawing? But of course you will tell us the most likely way this WVA player won multiple lotteries was by designing a winning system. He won his prizes playing the same game in one year. Just based on the fact he had more th

Sweet Million or MM or PB?
What's even more unique about it is this; Of the two drawings when there were multiple top prize Sweet Million winners, in one of those drawings, one player played the same line TWICE, and therefore won 2 million dollars. Funny thing is, they bought one ticket in one store, and a second ticket in a different store located on the very same street. Even though it happened about 50 miles from the town I live in, I've never been able to find out if the person did that on purpose, or if it was simply

Do tickets bought for consecutive drawings ever win the top two prizes, in Mega Millions or Powerbal
Some state lotteries have a page where they show some of the winners holding the large check with the amount they won and I saw a MM check written for $250,003 and a PB check for $1,000,007. Saw a few lesser prize checks with amounts that indicated either there was more than one winning line on the same ticket or it was a multi-draw that had matched 2 + 1, 1 + 1, or 0 +1 in a previous drawing. Since the jackpot checks are the amount of the annuity or the cash amount, we wouldn't notice if tha

7 people from WV winning $2M powerball
It could have been one person buying seven tickets trying to hit the winning PB number but covered his bets with Power Play just in case he didn't pick the right PB#. I've never understood it but when there are only 5 numbers to pick, some players are so sure they can get all five that they often play them multiple times. I heard of several cases of players doing that and winning less than they hoped for. It happened several times with the local pick5 game in my state before it was changed t

Millions in Pick 3
Pick-3 is still the most played online game and is second only to scratch-off tickets in sales. It would take a $2000 bet to win $1 million and the bets have been made many times but I don't recall reading where any of them won. Five figure payoffs are more common than we think because a $20 bet will get you that. Six figure wins are more common in pick-4 games but people have won over $100,000 playing the pick-3 too. It's possible a winner could cash in the tickets at multiple locations befo

A&E lottery show
You've basically suggested a pick 15 game where there are 36 digits to choose from instead of 10, and that's a much grander scale than any existing lotery game. It's a good analogy, but the actual numbers make the numbers in PB or MM look small.Extremely small. The chances of getting a specific outcome in that game would be 1 in 221,073,919,720,733,357,899,776. You're about 1,258 trillion times more likely to pick the right combination in megamillions. So why is it still a good analogy? Becau
