Wyoming Lottery looks at offering statewide raffle
Sounds like they have some progressive minded people in Wyoming. I promise not to rant on Alabama or Mississippi this time as to why they'll never have a lottery! lol!!

Wyoming Lottery looks at offering statewide raffle
While seeking permission last week to add a fourth game for Wyoming lottery players this year, WyoLotto officials were also looking at offering a statewide raffle. Right now we're doing research and focus groups on raffles to get an idea of what people think of them, WyoLotto CEO Jon Clontz said. Clontz said raffles could be held once or twice a year, beginning in 2017. The Wyoming Lottery Corp. board of directors would have to approve adding the raffle. You can give money away, but m ...

Multi-state lottery game coming to Wyoming
I think that has something to do with the law in Wyoming. In order to start a lottery there, they had to only offer certain games. Maybe it's changed since then, but that's how it started. I believe that is included in one or more of the news stories posted at Lottery Post when the Wyoming Lottery was being created.

Multi-state lottery game coming to Wyoming
I've seen Wyoming once, from the big truck I used to drive. I thought it was quite barren. But, then I read in this article that there ARE people there, who had a board meeting, no less. So, wow, people in 3 piece suits? Having a board meeting, but there's so much open space, and very windy too. It's hard to think of people living there. But, OK, if they want to add to their lotto, that's fine with me. I won't try to stop them. Wyoming: Cowboys, Rodeos, Lotto! (and a bit col ...

Multi-state lottery game coming to Wyoming
Yay this is great. I currently go to Wyoming to buy cowboy draw tickets. I like that they have the option of 20 draws instead of10. If their lucky for life has the option for 20 draws I'll start buying them there instead of Idaho that only offers 10 draws. Then I'd only have to make a lotto run every 2 months instead of every month. Good luck to everyone :)

The ugly side of the win. How would you deal with close family and friends who...?
I love this topic, because it is the Happy Place that I go to when I'm down in the dumps and need a little distraction from reality. First, upon realizing that I won...let's say $50 million after Federal and State taxes, I would IMMEDIATELY move to Florida or Wyoming (or a state with no state income tax), establish residency and getting a new driver license. I would establish a trust to collect my winnings, have an experienced team with a Tax Attorney (experienced with lottery or windfall new ...

Lottery officials say identifying winners a must
I thought it was six? All those you mentioned accept for Wyoming. At least that's what I've heard for awhile. Wyoming's website says you can remain anonymous. Please check it out under the website's FAQ.
