The exact calculation will always remain secret, so that it cannot be gamed. Generally speaking, it rewards consistent posting more than massive quantities of posts.

This is a listing of all current Elite members and the date they were promoted to Elite status. The first nine members listed with an asterisk under the Date promoted column are the initial members who qualified for Elite status when the concept was first created (shown in alphabetical order). The only was I can determine that is by researching the dates that I have posted the congrats messages on the forums. When the rankings were first created there were maybe 10 people who qualified for Elite under the calculation that was established. (It is still the same calculation today.) The earliest congrats message I could find on the forums was for Littleoldlady, on June 6, 2007: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/157110 She was the 11th member to make Elite, which fits with what I

Congratulations to gunjack for reaching Elite status!
gunjack is only the 49 th member of Lottery Post to reach Elite status, so I wanted to say congratulations! There are so few members of that status because it takes such a tireless daily dedication to accomplish. For more than 19 years gunjack has been an incredibly valuable, loyal, sharing, and helpful member of Lottery Post. Thank you for everything you've done for this site, its members, and the lottery community in general!
