You could give one lottery ticket to every single person in the US over 18 years old which would be 259.4 million people. And then you would still have 43.1 million Mega Million and 32.9 million Power Ball tickets left over. People look at their chances and say, If I'm going play at those odds, I'll wait till the jackpot gets real high. But there are very few that would say I don't want it , if they were to hit the starting jackpot for 20 million.

Say a state does 4 pre-test drawings before the official drawing and 4 post test drawings after the official drawing. Then you have 4 pre-test drawings before the next official drawing the following day. So that gives you 8 test drawings between every official drawing (the 9th). Now these test drawings don't count, but they are still drawings that are taking place none the less. Some states do more then 4. Now lets say a digit, for example the 2, is out 10,12,15 however many days in a row off

Pick3 box singles, 36 combos have 0 as lowest # 28 combos have 1 as lowest # 21 combos have 2 as lowest # Total 85, divide into 120 total #'s = 70.83%
