So if you buy lottery tickets with a credit card not only do you lose your money, but now you have to pay 15-20% interest on the money you lost. Who does this really benefit besides the credit card companies?

Any one can avoid being short changed on the win. All you have to do is ask for a receipt when you cash the ticket. I would love to see the clerk squirm and stammer when after he's paid you, you say, Oh, can I have a receipt for that? And then you ask, Where's the rest of the $$$?

Game odds, point spreads, over-unders etc, for all the major sports are printed in newspapers every day. But this is illegal? Perhaps the legal gambling entities are some how behind this because they fear losing some business, IE $$$. I find it ironic that Nevada, the mecca of gambling in this country, does not have a State lottery. Obviously the gambling industry there does not want competition.

Scammers take legitimate phone numbers and use them to disguise their numbers they are calling from. They call you from out of state or over seas and the number on your caller Id is a local number. What I like is when my phone rings and I look at my caller Id, and it's my own name and number on it. The bad thing then is, you can't call and report them. I don't know whether to laugh or get mad.
