Pennsylvania lottery winners to be taxed for the first time
We have a massive budget deficit that we need to close, Sheridan said. It's over two billion dollars, and doing something that every other state but two currently do seems like a no-brainer. Perhaps the two states that don't tax lottery winnings do not have a massive budget deficit. If that's the case, then it's a no-brainer that the other 48 states should do what those two states are dong to manage their budgets.

$75,000 California Lottery winner leaves with only $75
Obviously the winner never checked his ticket first. I'm thinking that perhaps he was a regular lottery customer and there fore the clerk knew him, if not his name, and realized his error and told his boss. Just saw the story update so I guess this wasn't the case about him being a regular customer, but it's good to know there are honest clerks.

N.C. man to buy his wife a Corvette after lottery win
If he's working for Richard Childress Racing he can probably afford it. It's a NASCAR team. Anyone ever hear of a guy named Dale Earnhardt? The father and son both drove for RCR at one time.

Nine sentenced to federal prison in lottery scam
This is good, but I doubt many victims will ever see the $839,827. Unfortunately, there are thousands more being scammed like this every day. Talk to your elderly relatives so they don't become victimized also. The elderly fall for this because they believe they won, and want to use the money to help their children, grandchildren etc.

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
WOW. This bill is being sponsored by the representative from Utah. One of only two states that do not have legalized gambling. It sounds to me like this representative is trying to force his views about gambling on the rest of the country.

Multi-state Lucky for Life game comes to Kentucky
No way I would want to play a crooked game. However, many people here say if you come up with a really successful system, you should keep it to yourself. There has to be a reason for that.

Multi-state Lucky for Life game comes to Kentucky
By monitored I meant that they may be observing which players may have successful systems or methods. They do want us to win, but maybe not too much... Not that anyone here is going to crack the code anytime soon, but I bet they would be very interested if they thought someone was getting close. Besides, why do they make the odds of winning harder by increasing the amount of numbers in the games? MM and PB specifically. The 175 million to one wasn't bad enough as it is, they have to make i
