$500 MILLION: Mega Millions sets all-time lottery jackpot record
I don't smoke, but if I win I might have a cigar.
The people who get 5 out 6 numbers will have brain damage from just missing,
And the winner will say wish you were here.

Ireland TV network red-faced after huge lottery numbers blunder
Litebets27, The gentleman is right. The Baltimore Sun no longer publishes the Va. lottery results, assuming thats the paper he looks at. However, he can get all the states results in the USA Today.
Perhaps you could look up the phone # for the Va. lottery and pass it on to him so he could call them when he wants to.

Ct. Powerball lottery winners signed affidavit swearing they are only members of trust
Well, maybe they normally buy ten tickets and bought 9 at one store and the 10th at another. Maybe they already had their their tickets and the guy decided to buy one more on a hunch. I don't buy all my tickets at the same store all the time. Sometimes I'll go to different stores the same day.
I think the only reason there is such a big to-do about all this is because, being money managers they took their time getting everything in order, instead of rushing down to cash the ticket 10 minutes

Asset managers accused of fronting for real $254M Powerball winner
Now that this has come out, I think a lot of other future winners will now be doing the same thing. I know I will. (so much for my anomynity) lol. But I would have done it anyway.
If the lotteries would give winners the option to remain anomymous, this would not happen. But with a lot of people looking for hand-outs or an easy payday, and the litigious world we live in nowadays, unfortunately people are left with no choice but to try to remain anomymous. Which should be their right.

Ct. man claims he lost $254M Powerball ticket
You don't have to believe me, go to the irs website and check out publication 529. Then click on index at the bottom. If you were to claim gambling loses on your taxes and you were to be audited they're gonna want to see records.
