Mega Millions goes on sale in South Dakota May 16
South Dakota Lottery officials are adding Mega Millions to the state's lineup of lotto games, beginning May 16. The first Mega Millions drawing in which South Dakota will participate is Tuesday, May 18. The South Dakota Lottery Commission in late March unanimously approved adding the game. A former Florida Lotto multi-millionaire has died nearly broke. Alex Toth's attorney says he was ill and still facing federal tax fraud charges when he died at age 60.
