S.C. Lottery board votes to add Mega Millions
The South Carolina Education Lottery Commission voted Tuesday to move forward with the proposal to add the Mega Millions game to the line-up of games currently offered for sale in the Palmetto State. The nine-member Board voted unanimously to allow cross-selling of Mega Millions and Powerball as early as January 31, 2010. Jackpots for the two multistate lotteries in the U.S. rose above $200 million each as players await tonight's drawing for one of the prizes.
