Former Arkansas Lottery official admits stealing tickets
A former Arkansas Lottery security official pleaded guilty Friday to a long-running scheme in which he's accused of stealing and cashing nearly a half-million dollars' worth of scratch-off tickets. A 37-year-old Boise insurance agent who at one time lived in a homeless shelter has won $250,000 in the Idaho Lottery. Anthony Castro won the money playing a scratch ticket that he bought at Jacksons Food Stores in Boise. US delays crackdown on Internet gambling
The US Treasury Department and Federal Reserve Board delayed for six months on Friday the enforcement of new rules designed to crack down on Internet gambling.
