Florida to join multi-state Mega Millions lottery
Florida will start selling tickets to the popular Mega Millions game later this year. Florida Lottery officials told The Associated Press on Thursday that the state will join 42 other states in selling tickets. Tickets will go on sale on May 15. The first Mega Millions drawing that Florida tickets will participate in is on Friday, May 17. The state already sells tickets to Powerball, another multi-state game. Florida Powerball winner claims $50 million jackpot
Christopher McGurran overnight went from living a modest life to living large. The 30-year-old and his wife claimed the $50 million Powerball jackpot drawn last month in St. Petersburg.
