The Maryland lottery is adding Sunday afternoon drawings for the first time in its 31-year history.The added drawings, which begin this weekend, are expected to generate an additional $5 million to $8 million a year. Maryland State Lottery officials said Friday that the winners of a $109 million Mega Millions jackpot have come forward.State Lottery spokesman Jimmy White wouldn't identify the winners, except to say they are from Montgomery County. Laird, a founding official of the Maryland State Lottery who created some of the early games and directed its marketing and advertising, died of cancer Friday at Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care.
