N.H. Lottery lottery for $1 million winner
New Hampshire Lottery officials are about to pull a scratch ticket from stores, even though one of the $1 million prizes is still unaccounted for.
Officials said 93 percent of the NH Millionaire's Club scratch tickets have been sold, but one of two $1 million winners hasn't been turned in.

A $400,000 winning Powerball ticket from the May 28, 2008 purchased in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania remains unclaimed.

N.J. store seeking owner of $2.5 million winning lottery ticket
Wanted: The winner of a $2.5 million Pick 6 Lotto ticket.
The Quick Mart on Washington Valley Road has posted a letter from the New Jersey Lottery congratulating the store owners for having sold the top winning ticket in the Dec. 29, 2008, Pick 6 Lotto drawing, but those who work there can't figure out who bought the winning ticket.

$100,000 Virginia lottery prize expires today
A lucky winner stands to net $207 million in Friday's Mega Millions lottery draw, but someone in Hampton, Virginia, faces losing $100,000.
Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is the largest since Feb. 22, said Virginia Lottery spokesman John Hagerty.

Time running out to claim $184,000 lottery ticket
California Lottery officials say time is running out for the buyer of a winning Mega Millions ticket at a Watts liquor store to collect the $184,000 prize.
The ticket was purchased at Astro Liquor, at the corner of South Avalon Boulevard and East Century Boulevard, before the April 25 drawing. The winning numbers on the ticket are 19, 32, 37, 45 and 52, and the Mega number is 41.

UNC Charlotte student wins $1M lottery jackpot
Mary Baker, a UNC Charlotte freshman nursing student, is one of the lucky winners of a scratch-off lottery game with a jackpot of $1 million.
The lucky student paid $20 for two scratch-off tickets at the Bloom grocery store near campus.
On the first ticket she won $10.
But on her second try, the ticket revealed that she was the big winner.
Monday, officials with the North Carolina Lottery presented her with a ceremonial check. Baker will receive 20 annual installments of $50,000.

$200,000 Powerball lottery prize goes unclaimed
One lucky Powerball winner from Kansas isn't so lucky after the deadline expired for claiming a $200,000 prize.
Kansas Lottery officials said they heard some real doozies last week from people trying to grab a share of the unclaimed riches, but despite that, Friday's deadline passed without the winning ticket showing up.

Degli Martinez, 55, of Queens, New York, claimed the biggest single Lotto jackpot in state history on Wednesday, a $65 million prize that took over a year and a police probe before he was allowed to have it.
