Supermarket chain accused of allowing lottery sales to minors
Children hoping to buy lottery tickets from vending machines may soon find it more difficult. Northeastern University's Public Health Advocacy Institute is demanding that Star Market remove scratch lottery ticket vending machines from its Massachusetts stores after, PHAI claims, a 14-year-old was able to purchase tickets from two stores. Thieves stole California Lottery vending machine
Investigators from the California Lottery are asking for the public's help in locating suspects who broke into a Lucky grocery store in Fremont over the weekend and made off with a Scratchers vending machine. An Ohio-based grocery store chain has signed a contract with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to sell lottery tickets through vending machines. Florida Lottery installing more instant ticket vending machines
The Florida Lottery will begin installing an additional 500 instant ticket vending machines around the state next week because they've become so popular with players.
