A Virginia House of Delegates subcommittee jettisoned legislation that would have allowed the Virginia Lottery to sell tickets on the Internet. No one came forward to claim three separate Virginia lottery tickets that were each worth $50,000, so the money now goes to a state fund for educational uses.
