The mysterious purchaser of a $24.1 million Lotto jackpot came forward to claim the winning ticket just two days before it was set to expire.

An Army soldier based in Fort Drum has won a $5 million New York Lottery jackpot.
The state lottery announced Tuesday that 36 year old Jesse Vonderhorst bought the winning scratch-off ticket at the Sunoco on Factory Street in Watertown.

A Silver Spring, Maryland, man won a state lottery game twice at the same convenience store a rare occurrence, lottery officials said.
