Dear Bob and Nick,

Thank you so much for fixing my problem! Lovely wheel, indeed! And a bonus thanks for Nick, who is so rare on this forum but descends like an angel when we need help!!

I have a question related to above wheel: If it has a 100% guarantee of hitting a 4 if 5 or 6 drawn numbers are in 14, then WHAT are the chances of the 6th number being there, using the SAME wheel?!

I wanted to know because I intend using the above wheel as a foundation to be able to play a pool of 21-28 numbers (after I reduce the 49-number pool to this size using the idea described in an article on Lotto-Logix website), and the lines would be filtered based on the MOST common trend in the draw.

Thank You!

Your odds of matching 6 in a 649 game is 1:13,983,816 per combination of 6's played.  Wheeling 14 numbers in 31 lines only gives you 31 combinations of sixes.

When you play a pool of 14 numbers in a 6/49 game the odds of having the winning numbers among your 14 are . . .

      6 in 14 = 1 in 4,656.62
      5 in 14 = 1 in  199.57
      4 in 14 = 1 in  23.48
      3 in 14 = 1 in 5.87
      2 in 14 = 1 in 2.93

The odds of having all six on one line remain the same, though if it makes you feel better you can subtract 31 lines from the 13.9 million or divide 13.9 million by 31 to see the odds each line faces.

Once you accomplish the purpose of reducing the field to 14 or 28 numbers and are correct, then you are playing in a 6/14 or 6/28 game and those odds apply for that draw.

        DreamLotto,

You originally stated that that you have a pick-6 wheel that uses 14 numbers in such a way as to cover all 1000 possible fours in just 40 lines. This implied that the wheel has a 4if4 100% and not a 4if5 100% guarantee. Actually there are 1001  4 number combinations from a pool of 14 numbers.

The wheel that you posted has a 36.86% 4if4 guarantee.

The corrected wheel posted by BobP has a 37.06% 4if4 guarantee.

The record for 100% 4if4 guarantee is 80 lines.

        Cheers,

        Tata Syndicate Boss

          Hi,

Developer, in my opinion the best software for wheels is the Wheel generator 1.4 (one of the best wheel optimizer) of Lotto Architect, if you need ideas maybe apapogeas (the owner, Anastasios Tampakis) could help you..

            To Hyperdimension

You posted predictions for Atlantic 649, and lotto 649 for canada. Of all the combinations you submitted how would a person choose which ones to play ? With only a limited amount of money.

            thank you, Elizabeth

              Hi Elizabeth03,

I am testing wheels for experimental purpose only, the tickets of the wheel have the same coverage, so it doesn't matter which ticket you choose, they have the same probability to appear..
