Wisconsin is pretty notorious for not wanting to give anything much when it comes to prize structures. The state likes to spend
our money a
lot and that is why we are the third-highest taxed state in the nation. But when it comes to allowing you to get money back, they are tighter than the lid on a jar of pickles. The state officials have gone on record more than once stating that they are "against gambling", so it really ticks them off that the people voted that they wanted a lottery. So we get the meagerest they can com eup with, it appears to me. For instance in the P3 I know there are states that offer a little something for your bet if you bet back pairs and front pairs. That will never happen here. Other states I've seen have promotions where you get a free ticket if yuo buy X tickets, or other types of "value added" things. But here it's like they are afraid they might lose a nickel and then they'd have to threaten to cut public services or something like they always threaten every time they don't get their budget increases. There is so much fat in the govt here, they could get rid of a lot of paper-pushing administrators and save moneyBecause of the deficit they are running, it looks like they are now going to have to do that on a state level. They are finally being welcomed to the real world. They are having to eliminate "positions" as people retire. Which begs the question:
If you can get along now without those positions, why in Hades did you have those positions filled all these years? ! (obviously not vital to running things)
