  i would have a higher starting jackpot since there will be 7 numbers to match, but otherwise ok.

  i got an idea. what if instead of numbers, the lottery used letters? players would think of a word that had 8 letters. the lottery would draw letters from 8 drums. the players would have to match the whole word to win the jackpot. lower tier prizes would be given for matching 4-7 letters. the jackpot would start at $5 million since it would be an 8/206 matrix, and roll each time nobody plays a word that those letters spell out.

  I've also that idea for years, too. I've always thinking pick 5 numbers and match in exact order. People would play lucky words.

  Jimmy if you have and idea for a game you should submit a copy written version of it the lottery of you choice and get a piece of the action. Actually you can sell the idea to them.

  yeah. why not. remember that OR and WA need a pick five NUMBERS game. CA could use it to replace Fantasy 5 (crappy jackpots that are almost always hit.

  I can? I thought it was illegal for lotteries to pay non-government contractors for game concepts. But then again, why not become a government contractor. I'll look into it.

  oh it's perfectly fine. i know someone who tried to get a contract with the PA lottery to do their instant tickets.

  Jimmy yea you can sell your ideas to anybody that's interested in them there are some proper things you need to do to protect yourself. There is a story on lottery post about a man who did make his own unique lottery game for scratch off and sold the idea. I don't know where that post is, maybe someone else does. Any way ideas are worth money especially new ideas. You have to protect the idea so they don't steal it from you. Try the library and ask for some books on the proper procedure for submitting ideas to companies. This way you are protected and if someone likes the idea and wishes to purchase it you can negotiate some kind of deal that's profitable for you.
