  Well, CD, this information certainly won't be as valuable as what you've presented, but I thought it might interest you, and I wondered how you thought it might best be integrated into a "straights" strategy.

  Tracking a single digit, same position return, P34Lotto calculates that:

  • 
    
  • over the entire 4,662 combined draws in its GA database there has been a hit rate of 24.3%, or every 4.1 draws (which matches what is mathematically expected)
  • 
    
  • over the last 150 draws (dating back to Sep 8th) 41% hits, or every 2.5 draws
  • 
    
  • over the last 100 draws  38% hits, or every 2.6 draws
  • 
    
  • over the last 50 draws, 36% hits, or every 2.8 draws
  • 
    
  • over the last 25 draws, 36% hits, or every 2.8 draws

  My software only tracks the max out for this dvent over the last 19 draws (6 skips).

  CD, do you have any thoughts, impressions, possible strategic implications, etc., in light of this recent statistical abberation in GA?  Does your spreadsheet data offer any additional insight into this?

  Peach, I don't see anything that impresses me that much about those stats.  Maybe I'm missing something, but just figuring in my head...a digit repeating from the last draw in any position should be 30% since 3 digits represents 30% of the total 10 digits.  Now out of those 30% I think that the percentage for that digit to hit in the same position would be 1 out of 3 or 33%.  So, basically 1/3 of the time you would be correct in saying that a digit would repeat and 1/3 of those would have the digit repeat in the same position.  Doesn't sound too good to me, but Justin would probably play it!!
