Are you getting sick of lotteries using the same game style for each instant game?

I'm getting sick of each instant game having the same play style, but a different name and different graphics. In Ohio, they don't even use a different name for some games. Do you guys think the lotteries need to try something new with their instant games?

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

    i've sent the lotteries my ideas for new instant game styles, but they've never used any of them. perhaps a baseball themed game would be nice, in which you play 9 batters. you scratch off each batter's outcome, and you see how many runs you score before you get 3 outs.

    the outcomes would be as follows:

    single

    double

    triple

    home run

    out

    double play

    triple play

    your prize would depend on how many runs you score. it would be as follows:

    1=$2

    2=$4

    3=$8

    4=$10

    5=$25

    6=$100

    7=$500

    8=$2500

    9=$20,000

    also, you would scratch off a box. if it says "win", you would win $20. if it says "triple-play", you would win $50. if it says "no-hitter", you would win $200. if it says "perfect game", you would win $500.

    any comments?

      it would be a new style, but it would also be a time-wasting game like bingo or the crossword games

        We did have a simpler version of that ticket a long time ago in MA - a single was worth $1, up to $1000 (or something like that) for a home run (I think there was 4 chances to win on each ticket). The thing I hated about that ticket was if you reached base on an error (a good dvent in real baseball) it was still a loser on the ticket.

          noah:

          If you reach base on an error, your batting average goes down.

            actually, if you reach base on an error, it does not count as an at-bat, so your average stays the same.

                maybe the box should also have an instant loser feature where if it says "busted for steriods" you lose any winnings in the game, making it less time consuming.

                  EW:

                  If you reach base on an error, it DOES count as a time at bat.

                      what if they offered a game in which you play hopscotch. you scratch off a number which tells you how many spaces you need to go. you move that many spaces and scratch off the box. if you see a dollar amount, that's how much you won. if you do not see a dollar amount, you did not win. perhaps there would be 4 or 5 of them per ticket.

                        what if they offered a bowling instant game? you would count up your score, and the prize would depend on the score. maybe a bonus for each strike? here's how it would work.

                        it would cost $2/ticket. you would scratch off each roll, and add up your score. the prizes would be as follows.

                        100-120: $2

                        121-140: $4

                        141-160: $8

                        161-180: $10

                        181-200: $25

                        201-220: $50

                        221-240: $100

                        241-260: $500

                        261-280: $2000

                        281-299: $5000

                        300: $29,800

                        Also, for each strike, you would win $2 instantly.

                        The only way to get a strike in the final frame is by getting a 300.

                        Any coments?

                          The state lotteries wont accept these games. You need to pitch them to the makers of the instant tickets. And trust me they wont pay you for the ideas when they have their own "creative minds" getting paid.

                            Actually I'm not tired of states copying game styles. The thing I'm tired of if states paying different amounts of jackpots for the same games. I think all pick 3 and pick 4 games should pay the same in each state. I also think the prize for the game should be more for the harder it is to win the jackpot. example in Ky they have  Tic Tac Cash where if you get 7 Tic Tac Toe lines in a row you win the jackpot of $25,000. Check out the link on how to play and tell me if you really think it's worth it to play this game. Personally I think this is the game they used to make up all the losses on the other games.

                            I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!
