I am a nightshift worker

I come straight from work to the forum

I have been doing this from day one

I get two to three hours  of sleep routinely.

CRAZY,yes but my zeal for numbers keeps

me like this. I sacrificed much sleep, workdays,

familytime to attain an insight of the numbers.

So forgive me if my manner seems

unaccommodating .

Still sorting things out.

I feel you worked nightshift for 18 years. I know time is precious. I have been working back to back double. Sometime their is not enough time to spend on life itself.

Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.

Odds never change .....but probability does.

Moderation and balance produces great results. Take it easy. Sometimes we spend too much of our precious time making some faceless, insensitive corporation more successful at our own expense. I quit a job I thought I really needed in order to spend more time with my mother whose health was declining.  When she died four months later, I absolutely knew at that time that I DID make the right decision. Such a newspaper I worked for did not offer a leave of absence, nor did anyone there express anything sympathetic to me or my family upon my mother's death.  (Perhaps they hated my conservative guts). The same newspaper even screwed up my last name in my mother's obituary that I wrote and edited myself.

I've rambled, but I feel it is important to share this with everyone on this forum.  Numbers and games will be here everyday, twice a day.  If you quit it or take a break from it, you won't lose anything.  If anything, you will gain in other ways - better attitude from more rest. Less work, less stress.  The world will still be here and so will all your friends.
