Oklahoma should go multi-state in 2006.

It would be mismatched in Mega Millions.

Mega Millions said they would only let one more state join. That's would be CA. But if that would change, OK might actually make sense for both games. Powerball would be the best fit, but Mega Millions wouldn't be total lark either.

Most smaller states join Powerball. Plus TX already sells Mega tickets now.

I'd like to see a state try BOTH games without getting kicked out (like GA from MUSL).

              it won't happen.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Mega Millions made it clear last year that they would only add one more major state, and then no more.  So it's clear that it will be Powerball.

                    Todd:

Why? NC would be a good fit for Mega Millions.

And Oklahoma is a "major" state with it's two major cities (OKC and Tulsa). So don't say they could join MM because they're not a major state, because OK is a major state. But Wyoming is not a "major" state (in fact the least populated in America), so if they get a lottery, MM might let them in.

i see oklahoma joining powerball, oklahoma would be considered one of the smaller to mid size states, they definitely aren't in the same realm as new york, illinois, florida, texas or california for sure.

Oklahoma has about the same population as Connecticut.

No, MM said one last big state - and California was that big state.  Besides, I don't consider OK to be a big state, although Geographically it certainly is.  Lotteries care little about physical size, they are more concerned with population.
