Well, I have a game in mind, but first comes the system that will make the game work. It's kind of complex, so listen carefully.
First, all of the prize money raised for the weekly drawing will be put into a bank account that will automatically convert foreign currencies into one primary currency (USD or EUR). The prize money won in a certain jurisdiction will determine how much of the account will be paid to that jurisdiction. Say Mexico's Loteria Nacional had USD$1,200,000 worth of prizes to pay, they will get that amount from the shared account, which would then be converted into pesos. So a player in Wisconsin who matched 3 numbers, will get no more or less than a person in Wales who matched 3 numbers. It will just be paid in a different currency. There would be no point in getting tickets in another country, except tax purposes.
The price of the game is determined by the exchange rate of one countries currency to the primary currency. Let's assume the primary currency is the US dollar. Every US player will buy tickets at the same flat price, $1. But other countries on the other hand will pay the equivalent in their currency. Observe what the prices for 1 line would be right now:
- US: $1.00
- Canada: $1.23
- UK: £0.52
- Euro: ¬0.75
- Japan: ¥104
Now I have a game in mind, but I'm not quite sure. So opening the floor to suggestions of a game that would generate half-billion dollar jackpots at least every 2 years. But would also have easy to win smaller prizes, but not too easy.
