1. Requests for money from relatives that I have no relationship with.

2. Blackmail and Extortion plots.

3. Kidnapping

4. Requests for money from persons you only know casually.

5. Being Murdered. Or constantly threatened with it.

6. Arson

7. Home invasion target

8. Being diagnosed with inoperable brain tumor  a week after winning.

9. Being struck by a car soon after winning. (This happened to an old man in Indiana some time ago.)

What else?

My biggest fear after jackpot win would be the agonizing pressure of trying to decide how to reward the person behind the counter who sold me my ticket. If it was a quick-pick, shouldn't the person who pushed the button and printed out my winning ticket deserve a nice tip? A very nice tip! Everyone from the store employees to the news media will be watching closely to see if and when I give a check to the person behind the counter. Sure, I know the store gets a nice bonus for selling the matching ticket ...but what about the individual who was working that day and personally waited on me at the counter? How much money is the correct thank you gift? Getting it exactly right so that everyone's happy  ...that would be my biggest fear.

... the lottery never fails to surprise!

When I bought my boys their first car, I had sleepless nights for a while. I wondered if I had given them something that would bring them harm.

Like Jack's grgandaughter, did he give her too much?

        Money changes people, I know.

i wouldn't worry about much.  the worst thing that could happen would be that my relationships with friends and family change.

I always tell the cashier that if I win I will tip him or her $10,000.

I was gonna say dying, but then I realized the after-life is much better than any amount of $$$ on Earth. Plus my family would get the $$$ afterwards. I would have the wills, etc... set up rather quickly after the win.

PS. Y'all anti-spiritual and anti/religious people, please do not attempt to rant about the above (not to me at least). Thank you.

I fear that one of my family members would get kidnapped for ransom. I dont care if I die after winning, even if its on the same. But my winnings hurting my family is my worst fear.

I think it would have to be getting a lawsuit filed for some reason.

What would I fear? Nothing. Seeing I'd first buy some kind of security system (probably of the 0.80 caliber variety). And a big fence. And the only people I'd let in are hungry children who need a square meal.
