Sorry to ba little off topic but I rarely get sick and this year have been hit hard twice and both times on my weekend.

Maybe if a won the quinto I wouldn't have felt so bad. Maybe someone knows something other than O.J. and chicken soup.

Try putting a good dose of Cayenne pepper powder on your food every time that you eat it should help and the longer that you do it the better that you should feel also very good with soups, but O.K. almost with any food.

Get well soon and good luck.

And or you can try a ZAPPER, like the Hulda Clark kind, use Google to find the info.

Drink plenty of fluids - especially intoxicating spirits - it may not help the cold but you won't mind it as much!

Rubbing Vicks Vaporub on your neck, chest and back clears up a cold or flu very well. Also taking Tylenol tablets. These work for me every time.

Good luck for a speedy recovery

The Vicks is an excellent choice. Add Sudafed that has Tylenol in it Chichen soup with lots of garlic and onions. And some Loving hands to massage your achiness.  Hope you feel better soon.

                    Tiger Balm

is a hundred times better than Vick's. The Chinese have been using it for century's. Not only is it good for helping get rid of the flu/colds it also is good for any aches and pains ascoiated with the flu. Do not put it in your nose cause it will burn the mucious membranes.

                      HEY DVDIVA,

TRY SOME ALKA-SELTZER PLUS COLD MEDICINE. WHEN I HAD THE FLU, THAT REALLY HELPED ME, ALSO RUB SOME MENTHOLATUM OINTMENT ON YOUR CHEST, NECK AND FOREHEAD. THOSE THINGS WILL SURE BRING THAT COLD OUT OF YOU. HOPE YOU GET BETTER AND I HOPE THIS ADVICE HELPS. SPEEDY RECOVERY TO YOU.

If you've developed strep throat too, gargle with salt water.

                        I like Halls menthol-lyptus too.

I'm allergic to garlic otherwise i'd use it. Might get some tiger balm soon too.

                          Thanks for all the help.

As for alcohol I might have to go to work so I'd have to pass.

Hope no one else is getting hammered like I am this year.

Practically everyone on the hospital unit that I work on has had the flu, despite having received the flu shot. So far (fingers crossed and knock on wood) I haven't had it. But it could come any day now.

                            Get well soon.

i agree with the hot (warm) drinks and honey... a cup of hot lemonade or tea with a couple of tablespoons of honey stirred in. even though many people are fighting a virus, the sugar concentration and hydrogen peroxide naturally found in honey contribute to the arrest of a broad range of bacteria so honey is still something to add to your arsenal. get well soon!!

... the lottery never fails to surprise!
