I can't remember where I found the info but it seemed to read that Connecticut hasn't sold a Powerball jackpot ticket (two) since the middle of 1997, which just happened to be weeks before and after I moved to my present address. And I don't even recall hearing the news when it happened.

If my facts are straight, is there any state with a longer dry spell than Connecticut?

CT sold three PB jackpot tickets, all in 1997, during the annuity-only era.

the number of powerball jackpot winners is proportional to the sales. states with bigger sales are more likely to sell a jackpot-winning ticket.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Looking more and more like Connecticut will have gone two consecutive matrices without a jackpot winner (none since 5/45 + 1/45).
