In 1996-2000, the NY Lottery offered the "Tax-Free Million" scratch game, which had a top prize of over $1.5 million, of which each winner received $1 million LUMP SUM after withholdings. Every "million-dollar" NY scratch game since has been annuity-only.

i see it happening sooner than you think. more and more states are offering million-dollar prizes in lump sum nowadays.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

The new $888,888 NY game appears to be lump sum.

I'm suprised that TN hasn't got a  Million dollar Ticket.  We have win for life and TN/volunteer millionaire but it's not the same.  I would like a $10 or $20 scratch off that offers a million or two.  Oh well I think it's too soon for TN to start giving away that much money.  I guess they are waiting until they make about 5 billion to do this.  (Darn gotta wait 4 years)

It all depends on what the players want. CO, if you want a million dollar cash scratcher, e-mail them, over and over.
